Schematic design

The schematic design should start from the most important nRF9160 interfaces which are the supplies and radio frequency interfaces. The Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) and control interfaces should also be prioritized, as they may require special application components, for example, for Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection.

The following figure shows recommendations that can be used as the basis of the application’s schematic design.
