Set up Ubuntu to use the voice recognition feature.
The Smart Remote 3 software package comes with a Ubuntu LiveCD containing the Nordic
Voice System (NVS) package. You can run or install this LiveCD directly. Download the
LiveCD from Downloads > nRFready Smart Remote 3 for nRF52 Series Linux Host LiveCD at Smart Remote 3 for nRF52.
If you have a computer already operating with Ubuntu 16.04
LTS, you will need to install just the NVS package.
To install the NVS package,
complete the following steps:
Download the NVS package nvs-5.4.tgz from Downloads > nRFready Smart Remote 3 for nRF52 Series Linux Host Software
install Files at Smart Remote 3 for nRF52.
Open a terminal (CTRL + ALT + T).
Navigate to the folder where nvs-5.4.tgz is located.
Unpack the nvs-5.4.tgz file by typing tar -xf
nvs-5.4.tgz.
Open the file nvs-5.4/binaries/HOWTO-install.txt and
follow the steps there to complete the installation.
