The Smart Remote 3 product example is equipped with two digital output PDM microphones.
The microphones are configured so that they can be used to sample stereo audio, but are by default set to mono audio. The microphones are by default disconnected from the power supply and the interface connectors. To connect to the development kit and enable power, solder bridges SB9, SB10, and SB11 must be shorted, see Digital microphones schematic.
