The next step after compiling and programming your application is to test it. With the
nRF Connect platform, Nordic Semiconductor provides its own testing apps, which are
available both for mobile and for desktop.
Testing with a mobile device
If you have a mobile device that supports Bluetooth®
Low Energy, download the nRF Connect app from Google Play or App Store to test your application.
Testing with a computer
If you have a dongle or a second Nordic DK, you can test your application with the Bluetooth®
Low Energy app in nRF Connect for Desktop. nRF Connect for Desktop is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
