To perform a production test on a Bluetooth® Low Energy application, it is preferable to use a built-in function called Direct Test Mode (DTM). This application note describes two alternatives for setting up a production test with DTM: Anritsu MT8852B Bluetooth Test Set, and the nRF8001 Development Kit or the nRF51822 Development Kit together with a computer as the tester.
