Use this part of the nRF5 SDK for Thread and Zigbee v3.1.0 to build applications based on the Zigbee networking protocol.

The Zigbee examples in this SDK are built on top of the nRF5 SDK v15.3.0, which you can use to develop your applications. See nRF5 SDK v15.3.0 for the full documentation of nRF5 SDK v15.3.0.

Zigbee stack features – Includes an overview of the stack features and the supported standards.
Programming principles – Provides information about application structure, debugging capabilities, and power optimization.
Zigbee stack API overview – Describes ZCL terms and definitions, implementation of a Zigbee end product, commissioning, security, and power saving.
Zigbee memory layout and requirements – Provides information about the typical flash and RAM requirements for various Zigbee device types, and about the layout for an application that uses the Zigbee stack.
Memory configuration feature – Includes information about the usage configuration options for RAM and persistent data size.
Zigbee and Zigbee+BLE examples – Describes functional examples that demonstrate several Zigbee features.

Note: When developing products using the Zigbee stack, in several .h files you will come across references to snippets in .c files. These .c files are not included in the SDK package. Check the API reference for the related .h file to see the snippet code usage.

Additionally, there are some Thread and Zigbee shared features that are supported by both Thread and Zigbee protocols.
