Read command

The read command is used to query the current message format.

Response syntax:

+CMGF: <mode>

The read command parameter and its defined value are the following:

<mode>
0 – Protocol Data Unit (PDU) mode

The following command example reads the current message format:

AT+CMGF?
+CMGF: 0
OK
