The proprietary %XSYSTEMMODE command sets the modem system mode.v2.0.x
Set command
The set command sets the supported system modes of the modem. The command configuration is stored to NVM approximately every 48 hours and when the modem is set to minimum functionality mode with the +CFUN=0 command.

The read command reads the supported modem system modes.
