Product certification

Almost any product transmitting radio signals needs some kind of compliance with regulations or certifying. There are different rules in different regions, so make sure your product will comply with regulations in the region it will be sold.

ISM band regulations

Nordic has a number of qualified designs that can be reused (QD IDs). To see the QD IDs, go to Listings search, type in Nordic Semiconductor in the search field, check the box for Qualifications & Declarations, and click Search.

ANT qualification

The following rules apply when designing a product using ANT:

Products that have been tested by ANT+ engineers are listed as ANT+ Certified. Products that have completed testing with ANT+ self-verification test tools are listed as Self Verified. As products complete the ANT+ Certification program they will receive certified status.
